Interior Photos of the Day…More Lake Beautiful-ness

Well, to say that I’m a bit behind would be a gross understatement.  I have been simply slammed with new work the last several weeks…WHICH IS A GOOD THING!  Not complaining, I just like to post more work, so, in that regard, I’m behind.  Soooo, here are some images from a great home we shot a few weeks back for Amy Burleson at Keller Williams.  The home sits right on South Lake Lanier, and nearly every room has ridiculous lake views.

Have a great week, and let us know what you think!

Contemporary Residential Interior Design…AHT Interiors

One of the ways that I gauge the ‘awesomeness’ factor of an interior is whether or not I would show the images to my wife.  That may sound a bit counterintuitive, but the better the design, the more my wife will want those designs in our home, which means more work for Adam.  So, I guess it is a bit of self-preservation.  For the record, I won’t be showing Kim these images.   Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Allison Havil-Todd again on another beautiful design job she did for one of the Roswell Woman’s Club Homes of Distinction.   The club organizes tours of spectacular homes in the Atlanta metro area in which the proceeds benefit local educational scholarships, grants, human services, cultural arts, historical preservation, and urban improvement.  Pairing up with Thrive Homes, they open up the doors of these beautiful spaces for inspiration, and just a bit of envy…

Interior Photo(s) of the Day… Milton Modern Victorian

Atlanta is a fantastic area to find truly unique architectural styles.  Even though most of the antebellum buildings were destroyed when Sherman came through, modern architects have created homes and structures that echo that history, and pull from other eras also.  The farther you get from the center of Atlanta though, the more difficult it is to find homes that fall entirely into one style.   This home is one of those.

While I want to call it a Victorian, it doesn’t really have that feel throughout.  You can see the influences, but the home doesn’t really wade fully into the Victorian pool.  It is a bit more modern in places, and even has some Craftsman thrown in for taste.  It was a blast to shoot, and I want to thank  John Cook with Keller Williams for the opportunity.  Comment below and let us know what you think!
