I grew up in a ranch home.  A nice, old, brick ranch home.  When we bought it, it needed some updating.  Little by little, my parents picked a room, and went to work.  By the time I went off to college, it was a very comfortable, updated, and well-maintained home that I remember fondly.

More and more, families are rejecting the ‘let’s just buy new’ mentality, and are investing in these older staple homes, and turning them into absolute gems.  This describes a recent project by Kade Homes.  This 1960’s ranch, turned into a contemporary treasure, was especially inviting to me, since I love ranch homes…

We don’t often see ‘elegant’ town homes in this area.  I’m not sure why… Probably because we have lots of land and townhomes aren’t that common on this side of town.  BUT, here is one beautiful town home!  Thanks to Tobi Pomerance for this one, and let us know what you think!

Here are a few images from a recent shoot for Laura Falk and the Butler Swayne Team.  If you could only pick one word to describe this home, I’d bet all the money in my pocket that it would be ‘white’.  Talk about consistency in the design theme…  In any case, it is beautiful, and we had a great time photographing it.  Let us know what you think!
